I decided to update my weekly feature with what I have had in my heart & mind for awhile:
L O V E
I believe Love is the most powerful feeling one can have. Not hate, not fear, nothing is as strong as Love. Learn to love your enemy. Learn to love your neighbor, even if they are not like you. As The Beatles once said, "All you need is love."
My own personal work "Love Signs" was what inspired me to keep an eye out for other beautiful pieces about Love.
I love...
My boyfriend, laughter, sunsets, sunrises, the feeling of warm sand between my toes, fresh cut grass, the smell in the air after it rains, snowflakes, bubbles, fruit smoothies, back rubs, lips, fireworks, clouds, the smell of roses, clear oceans that glow turquoise, exploring, my cats purring in my arms, motorcycles, mosh pits, amaretto sours, seeing old friends, making new ones, chocolate, vision quests, blue skies, good hugs, herbs and spices, garlic, red wine... Traveling, learning new things, meeting new people, music, movies, concerts, people, video games, hiking, biking, snowboarding, skiing, anything in the water or the mountains...
TRAVEL -- One of my deepest passions is to explore and travel the world. I will someday be able to say I have been all over the globe! As of yet I have been to Thailand, England, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, and Monaco. (And Maui too!)
PHOTOGRAPHY -- Taking pictures has always been just a hobby until recently. I have an urge to learn more about different aspects of picture taking. I will be exploring this avenue further and am very excited about learning all kinds of new things about lighting, angles, digital editing, etc. With how much I love to take pictures, you never know where I could end up!
ART -- I have always loved art of any kind... Basquiat is amazing, van Gogh is spectacular, Dali -- wow!, my own art is still evolving & I have always loved my Mom's art -- she has been a true inspiration to me.
MUSIC -- Sound, rythmn, vibration... Music is awesome, I can't say that I don't like a certain kind because I am always open for something new.
SPACE -- What does exist in the great beyond? Where/what did we come from? Where are we going?
